Want toGive Sonic & friends downward shadows at all times
I want to give the player character a top-down shadow (separate from environmental shading) at all times so you can more accurately measure where you will land. I'm not sure what file I need to modify, or what HMM library to use to access this data and change the shadow angle.
Here's an example of what I hope to achieve. Note how the realistic man has a shadow angled by the light, while Mario's is directly beneath him.
