Hello everyone!
So, you know when I said that I'll wait for when HL2:RTX releases? I got impatient.
HL2:RA Part 2 is in the works. This time, I've learnt textures so now models should not need a laggy mesh-stacking method to look passable to reach the standards I try to set.
Some other parts are WIP as well. Production may be slow as I've got quite a bunch of ideas and other projects on my plate (some screenshots are on this page). You might see me helping out in one of Volkolak and ZMA's mods in the future as well. wink wink nudge nudge
In the meantime, this is where I get off.
HL2:RTX

Hello everyone!
With the announcement of HL2:RTX, I have decided that it is in my best interest to wait for that to release, as it will be using HL2:RA and will be in Source 1. Therefore, my job of porting assets will be made infinitely easier and things where I have to construct some collision models will no longer be a hassle.
With that being said, see you next time!

Hello everyone! I have decided to put this project on hold for now as I am currently experimenting with creating my own source mod with PBR and CSM and all the fancy stuff. I hope you all understand.
See you next time!
Update v2.1
6mo
-Added more models
-Updated to FakePBR method
Hello everyone!
Just a little update to show the development of some new models for Part One. I've decided to opt in for BlueFlyTrap's FakePBR method to make the models look a lot more better and realistic. I have put some reference images in media section comparing before and afters. It does come at a slight performance cost, due to models being rendered 6x as much. However, I've been able to easily maintain 300 fps on Half-Life 2 without any other mods, and my computer is only mid-range. I suppose if you want good looking stuff, you need the computer capabilities to handle it.
Anyways, with that being said, see you next time!
Half-Life 2: Remade Assets Port
This is a WIP for a port where I take the HL2: Remade Assets from Source 2 and port them into the Source engine.
A pack like this exists already. However, it was indefinitely discontinued, the materials aren't the best and some parts of it are unoptimised. I will try to make sure that this pack doesn't end up like its predecessor.
NOTES:
I am planning on splitting models into their respectives parts (1,2,3,4,5) and screenshots will be taken using Slip Union's Amalgam Zenith CM2013.
Any ports that JQueary has done that I can't done will be implemented unless explicitly told not to.
