EyeRefract is an eye shader introduced in Orange Box to replace its predecessor "Eye". Featuring reflections in eye reflections and overall superior quality than its predecessor system. However, for whatever reason despite being utilized across Team Fortress 2, Portal, and even Vortigaunts introduced in Episode 2, its EyeRefract system never saw widespread implementation among original cast characters; not even Dr Magnusson himself received access.
Who could forget Episode 2, when our main protagonist used an older eye system! Such is life! Such is tragedy!
Not to worry! All hope is not lost: the game left several default eyes (brown, green and blue) available as texture sources in uncompressed versions, providing access for high quality textures creation. I took upon myself the "long and arduous task" (roughly an hour's work) of giving all human characters these eyes (including creating completely unique eye textures for Barney Kleiner Magnusson Gman etc).
Since half of this mod's assets are Valve originals, I will grant full edit and repost rights for it. Have fun!
