Half Life 2 Uncompressed Pack
- A Mod for Half-Life 2.

Affordable Luxury without being impossibly luxurious

This uncompressed pack provides Half-Life 2 and its episodes.

Due to file size limitations on Gamebanana, all primary HL2 & EP2 games can now only be stored on Google Drive.

This pack will only work properly with MMOD if all weapons and combine_soldier folders within it are deleted; there's no promise I will release a specific version for it... or perhaps there will.

This makes them look much smoother while eliminating the green tint found in compression. Additionally, some edited VMT files (usually to add normals + exponents to models) as well as upscaling textures from leak are present as well as edited VMT files to add normals + exponents were applied by hand in this process.

NOTE: As this data comes directly from the Repo Leak, not all textures were affected; some, like Vortigaunt Base Textures remained crusty without green tint.)

Also, many textures were edited; as such, some may no longer resemble their original counterparts exactly.

As most of this mod's content originates with Valve, all rights are extended to everyone with this pack.

How was this accomplished?
Textures were created the same way they normally would be; instead of using DXT1/DXT5 formats though, I employed BGR888/BGRA8888 formats which don't compress textures as these tend to provide higher image resolutions and resolution.
