Are there any solutions for accessing sharedassets.resource on Android devices?

I have been trying to open sharedassets.resource on android but none of the image editors I tried would recognize the file format; is there an easier way? Without access to a PC but having decompiled an APK I managed to access sharedassets.resource but don't know what should come next.
