Universal Reverse Fix for Private Servers

This little tool makes all your mods into earlier version compatible mods.

Now you can select the version you want to reverse to. Hashes included are 4.0 and 3.2, but you can download any version hashes and this will change your mods to be that version.

Works for mods from all versions.

Instructions:

Make a copy of your mods folder before running this, especially if you want to use the same mods on official later.

Extract genshin_revert_mods_40 and the hashes40 folder (or hashes32 if you play any version 3.3 or earlier) into your mods folder, then double click on genshin_revert_mods_40 to run it.

Creating a copy of your mods folder before running this will protect you in case anything goes wrong, as well as making it so you still have your mods to use on official whenever you want - without needing to run any other fixes.

Technical Stuff:

Note: this forces all hashes into those of the specified version. This also remaps for versions earlier than 4.4, including Barbara if you pick anything earlier than 3.6. You can report any issues on this page.

The tool expects hash.json files to be named after what they belong to, I use advanced renamer to rename all hash.json files to the name of the directory they are in. Then copy all .json files into a new folder. Name that folder "hashes" plus the version number with no periods, for example 4.0 hashes become: hashes40

This does not 'upward' remap, only reverse remap. Hashes will be set according to the desired version always, but remaps only go backwards.

Merged mods are also fixed.

If you ran this when you didn't mean to, you can run the normal 4.1 fix then 4.4 fix to "re-update" your mods to 4.4.
This should take your mods from 4.0 -> 4.1 with 4.1 fix and then 4.1 -> 4.3 -> 4.4 with 4.4 fix which includes 4.3 fix.

REMAP CHARACTERS CANNOT BE FIXED THIS WAY, BE SURE TO MAKE BACKUPS BEFORE RUNNING IF YOU HAVE NO WAY OF GETTING THE ORIGINAL MOD BACK.
